GSL Education is seeking a motivated and caring teaching assistant to work in a SEN provision school in Totton. As a Teaching Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide support to teachers in delivering lessons and activities, including settling the class into their tutor group, supporting teachers in ensuring all pupils can access their curriculum, and working closely with teachers to ensure all pupils are supported in school. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

We offer a competitive salary of £22,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, for full-time or part-time work. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in working with challenging behaviour, sports coaching, and youth work. You will also have access to training and development opportunities to enhance your career prospects.

Requirements:

  • Experience in teaching, sports coaching, nursery background, support work or healthcare, and youth work
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
