Job Title: Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team at Appoint Healthcare. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for supporting the ward manager in managing a secure ward with patients under the Mental Health Act who have a diagnosis of mental health, personality disorder, and/or learning disability needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the ward manager in managing a secure ward with patients under the Mental Health Act
  • Have clinical and leadership experience that provides the expertise and confidence required to support the wider nursing team
  • Be responsible for deputising in the absence of the ward manager if necessary
  • Assess and teach junior staff and have good leadership skills
Requirements:
  • A relevant nursing qualification (RMN)
  • A valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • A minimum of 2 years of Mental Health experience as a nurse in the UK
