We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered General Health Nurse to join our team at SAU, a mixed gender 24-bedded ward with a dedicated triage area and ultrasound facilities.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing general, hepatobiliary, colorectal, urology, and vascular surgery.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Supervise and direct Health Care Assistants with their daily workload.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, and outside agencies, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to data protection regulations.
- NMC Registered Nurse with demonstrable experience in an acute hospital setting and within surgery.
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain active NMC registration.
- A competitive salary of £29,970 to £36,483 per annum, pro rata if part-time.
