We are a leading investment management firm, Coatue Management L.L.C., seeking a seasoned AWS senior platform engineer to join our team. Our company is a self-sufficient team that operates in a fully agile way, with a strong focus on innovation and collaboration.

Our platform is built on a robust infrastructure, spanning multiple AWS regions, and utilizing a range of services, including Go, Redis, DynamoDB, CockroachDB, and Postgres. We are looking for an expert who can help us scale and optimize our platform, ensuring high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS
  • Develop and maintain high-quality Go code, following best practices and coding standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize platform improvements
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment and testing
  • Monitor and troubleshoot platform issues, using tools like Datadog
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our platform

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with AWS and its services, including Go, Kubernetes, and service meshes like Istio and Envoy
  • Strong understanding of cloud network infrastructure design and troubleshooting
  • Experience with instrumentation and monitoring tools, such as Datadog
  • Knowledge of load and chaos testing, and security best practices
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
