About the Role
We're seeking a talented Level Designer to join our Forza Horizon team on a contract basis. As a key member of the Level Design team, you'll be responsible for crafting expansive game worlds, designing captivating events, and implementing core gameplay features.
You'll collaborate closely with our world-class technical and creative teams, ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the development process. Your ability to adapt quickly to change and communicate effectively will be essential in this dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain diverse areas within our game world.
- Collaborate with a highly skilled and motivated team of developers and artists.
- Utilize our proprietary engine and tools to create immersive gameplay experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Level Designer on at least one shipped title.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as 3DS Max, Mudbox, and Photoshop (or equivalent).
- Ability to conceptualize and execute whitebox environments, progressing them to polished final stages.
- Experience in developing AAA open world environments is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- A genuine passion for video games.
