Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Technician
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our team at Scania. As a Heavy Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of heavy commercial vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on heavy commercial vehicles
- Diagnose and repair complex technical issues
- Work with a team to achieve goals and deadlines
- Develop and maintain a high level of technical knowledge and skills
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification or proven technical experience
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Preferred Requirements:
- LGV/HGV/PCV licence an advantage
- Bus and coach experience an advantage
- IRTEC accreditation desirable but not essential
