At Fletcher George, we are seeking a highly skilled Audit Manager to join our team in Weybridge. As an Assistant Audit Manager, you will be responsible for reviewing audit assignments, drafting audit opinions, and providing technical support on complex matters of UK GAAP and UK ISAs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and draft audit opinions, considering qualifications and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and UK ISAs.
  2. Produce complex, detailed, and group statutory accounts within Caseware, demonstrating expertise in financial reporting.
  3. Provide technical support on complex matters of UK GAAP and UK ISAs, ensuring accurate and timely completion of audit assignments.
  4. Coach, mentor, and supervise junior members of the team, fostering a culture of excellence and professional development.
  5. Liaise with clients regarding audit timetables, accounting issues, and resource planning, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  6. Monitor and manage audit work in progress, prioritizing assignments and ensuring timely completion.
  7. Identify efficiency opportunities and additional audit billing opportunities, driving business growth and profitability.

Requirements:

  1. ACCA or ACA qualification, with a proven track record in Practice.
  2. Strong IT skills, with experience in Caseware and other relevant software.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.

  1. Competitive salary, ranging from £42,000 to £53,000, dependent on relevant post-qualification experience.
