We are seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to join our client's facilities division at Toyota Motor Manufacturing UK. As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for the management of onsite infrastructure, including buildings, lighting, heating, waste management systems, and electricity distribution.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with previous experience in a facilities environment. Evidence of new equipment installation and project management capability are also essential. Additionally, a full right to work in the UK and a UK driving license are required.

This role would suit an engineering graduate who can demonstrate strong technical skills and a willingness to learn. Training may include development on PLC, building management systems, CAD, and project management.

  • Manage external contractors and projects from conception to completion
  • Ensure compliance with safety and legislative requirements
  • Work alongside the onsite facilities maintenance team
