Job Description

This is a contract on-site role for a skilled Fitter to work with our client's manufacturing teams in Belfast. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining essential production lines.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and install mechanical systems
  • Maintain and repair machinery and equipment
  • Interpret technical drawings and manuals

The ideal candidate will have a time-served apprenticeship in a relevant field, experience in aerospace mechanical systems assembly and installation, and strong problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork skills are also essential.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A time served apprenticeship in aero, mechanical or equivalent
  • Aerospace experience in mechanical systems assembly and installation
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills

Salary: ££40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
