About the Role
Your new firm is a well-established, growing chartered accountancy firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality services to clients in the north-west and beyond. As a firm that prides itself on its supportive and successful reputation, they offer a range of services including accounting, bookkeeping, VAT, taxation, compliance, and consultancy.
Your New Role
You will be joining a team of experienced accountants, reporting to the managing partner, to contribute to the success of the accounts team. Your day-to-day duties will involve managing a portfolio of SME and limited company clients, overseeing the preparation of accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT returns, and dealing with client queries. You will also have the opportunity to prepare accounts for review and oversee junior members of the team.
What You'll Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA) with a minimum of 4 years' experience in practice, working on statutory accounts, bookkeeping, and VAT. Prior experience using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or Quickbooks is also desirable.
What You'll Get in Return
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary ranging between £30,000 to £35,000, depending on your experience, as well as flexible working patterns, on-site parking, an annual bonus, and a healthy holiday package.
