**About the Role**


As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the electrical/electronic design and testing of new X-Ray and Bond Test products as well as the maintenance of existing products. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.


**Key Responsibilities**



  2. Assist in the design and layout of electrical support systems for X-Ray and Bond Test machinery.
  3. Design and documentation of electrical panels, PCBs, and general machine wiring.
  4. Basic mechanical design for electro-mechanical elements of machines.
  5. Practical electrical and electronic prototyping.
  6. Specification, documentation, and management of electrical bills of materials.
  7. Support and improve electrical design of existing product range.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**



  2. Educated to degree level or demonstrable equivalent experience.
  3. Substantial experience (5+ year) of designing Electrical/Electronic Systems in an industrial setting.
  4. Experience of designing electromechanical systems (e.g., Robotics, production automation, etc.).
  5. Solid experience of working as part of a team on medium to large engineering projects.
  6. Extensive experience of designing electrical panels for industrial systems (Circuit breakers, contactors, etc.).
  7. Experience of specifying and designing wiring looms for electrical machinery.
  8. CAD experience (preferably AutoCAD, Inventor, Cadstar).
  9. Good practical electrical/electronic skills for prototyping/testing.
  10. Knowledge of relevant electrical safety standards (IEC61010, NPA79, etc.).
  11. Team player with a proactive approach to problem resolution.
  12. Communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation.
  13. A high degree of flexibility in a continuously changing environment.
