Job Opportunity for Self-Employed Van Drivers

Menzies Distribution is seeking experienced self-employed van drivers to join our team as independent contractors. As a self-employed delivery specialist, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a 3.5-tonne van (Transit or similar) to deliver products to between 20-40 customers per day.
  • Load and unload products from the van, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Return to the depot with any unsold products.
  • Meet the demands of a multi-drop driving role, requiring physical fitness and a flexible attitude to work.

Requirements:

  • The 'Right To Work' in the UK with no serious unspent criminal convictions.
  • A full UK/EU/EEA driving licence.
  • 3.5-tonne van (Transit or similar) with business insurance.
  • Goods In Transit Insurance.
  • Public Liability Insurance.
  • Hire and Reward Insurance.
  • No previous disqualifications NI, DD or DR.
