Career Opportunity: Business Development Representative

Layer 8 Recruitment is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team in London. As a BDR, you will be responsible for pitching and selling connectivity related managed services direct to other businesses.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about new business sales and has a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in a new business sales role and will be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The salary package for this position includes £35-40K per annum, plus up to £4K bonus and commission of approximately 50% on top of the base salary.

About the Role:

  • Responsibilities include booking meetings with prospective clients, qualifying leads and managing relationships internally and externally.
  • You will work closely with our solutions pre-sales team to build confidence in your relationships and champion the customers within the business.
  • Skills required include enthusiasm, energy, self-motivation, excellent relationship building skills and integrity.
  • A results-focused approach and the ability to work effectively under pressure are also essential.
