We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Orthodontist to join our team at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that will involve providing comprehensive secondary care services in all aspects of Orthodontics, including the management of hypodontia and patients requiring orthognathic surgery.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Restorative Dentistry teams to provide a comprehensive service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist orthodontic care to patients, including those requiring orthognathic surgery
- Work collaboratively with other teams to provide a comprehensive service
- Participate in the management of hypodontia and other complex orthodontic cases
- Contribute to the development of the orthodontic service and the training of junior staff
