Physical Education Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities


  • Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality PE lessons, as well as general TA cover through KS1 & KS2
  • Deliver pre-planned PE sessions to primary-aged children, fostering a love for sports and fitness
  • Encourage teamwork, healthy lifestyles, and physical well-being among students
  • Assist in managing and maintaining the school's sports equipment and resources where necessary


Requirements


  • A passion for physical education and working with children
  • Experience as a Physical Education Teaching Assistant (experience in a primary school setting is an advantage)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners
  • The ability to create a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for all children
  • A proactive team player with a commitment to the holistic development of students
