Barclays UK is seeking a highly skilled Transformation Project Lead to join our team in a growing TM function. As a key member of our organization, you will have the opportunity to work on enhancing and transforming existing processes.

Key Qualifications

Purpose of the Role

The Transformation Project Lead will be responsible for managing change projects that help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives. This includes ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, in control, and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.

Accountabilities
  • Management of change projects within the organisation, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and manage project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, including senior management, project teams, and external partners to ensure informed progress and meet needs and expectations.
  • Manage project teams, ensuring proper resourcing and necessary skills to deliver on project objectives.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring delivery within the agreed budget.
  • Create reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage project risks, identifying, assessing, and mitigating risk, assumptions, issues, and dependencies as necessary.
  • Facilitate change management activities, including training and communication, to ensure successful project implementation and embedding in the organisation.
Assistant Vice President Expectations
  • Consult on complex issues, providing advice to People Leaders to support the resolution of escalated issues.
  • Identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures in support of the control and governance agenda.
  • Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls relating to the work done.
  • Perform work closely related to that of other areas, requiring understanding of coordination to achieve organisational objectives.
  • Collaborate with other areas to provide business-aligned support and keep up with business activity and strategy.
  • Engage in complex data analysis from multiple sources to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Communicate complex information, including sensitive or difficult content.
  • Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £85,000-£110,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
