We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Care Specialist to join our team as a Crisis Intervention specialist. This role provides an exciting opportunity for career growth and development, with the possibility of progressing to an Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) position within 2-3 years.

The post holder will be employed within the AMHP service with a view to undertaking their Approved Mental Health Act Training, which is likely to take place during 2026 but this is yet to be confirmed.

As a specialist in crisis intervention, you will contribute to the daily functions of the AMHP Service, including working alongside Police colleagues during evenings and providing acute assessment and care support to individuals experiencing mental health crisis in the community.

You will also participate in the Joint Response Unit vehicle rota and work closely with partner mental health services, providing clinical advice, guidance, and support.

This role may require a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
