Clinical Lead Specialist

About the Role:

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Lead Specialist to join our Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) team in the Emergency Centre. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop and coordinate the service, ensuring exceptional care for patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the UTC, ensuring all staff comply with best practice.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and complaints, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Provide expert clinical advice to staff and build effective working relationships with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to support patients and families in stressful situations.
Person Specification:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • MBBS, MBChB or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications relevant to the role.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current clinical practice and mandatory training.
Salary:

This role offers a competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
