Science Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Science Technician to join our dynamic team at GSL Education. As a Science Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our science laboratories and supporting our students in achieving their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers during practical lessons by preparing and setting up equipment and materials.
• Maintain and organize the science laboratories, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked.
• Assist in the safe disposal of chemical and biological waste.
• Manage and maintain an inventory of science equipment and resources.
• Support students during practical activities, providing guidance and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and best practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and students.
• A passion for science and education.
• Relevant qualifications in science or a related field.
