Finance Administrator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our dynamic team at Lloyd Barnes Accountancy Recruitment. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient management of our client's financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the receipt and processing of incoming invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
  • Conduct monthly and bi-weekly BACS payment runs, maintaining accurate records and communicating with relevant departments as needed.
  • Create new accounts on our system, including registration under the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) with HMRC.
  • Perform monthly statement reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues with relevant departments.
  • Collaborate with various departments to compile information for comprehensive Environmental, Social, and Governance reporting.
  • Raise ad-hoc journals as needed to ensure accurate financial tracking and adjustments.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar Accounts/Finance Administration role.
  • Ability to independently manage workload and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook, and familiarity with standard accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero.
