A leading manufacturer in the UK, Zest, is seeking a dedicated Multi-Skilled Fabrication Expert to join the team.

Job Overview

We are looking for an individual with experience working in the FMCG sector who can conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical systems, including fault finding and diagnostics, as well as multi-skilling in both electrical and mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities
  • Conducting regular inspections and testing of equipment to ensure safety and minimal production disruption.
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Working closely with the production team to ensure all machines run smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in the FMCG sector is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including fault finding and diagnostics.
  • Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical engineering (electrical bias preferred).
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £43,000-£45,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits.
