Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher with leadership opportunities to join our team at Hillingdon Manor School in Uxbridge. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to pupils aged 11-19 with varying abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach classes in a fun and engaging manner, adapting your approach to meet the individual needs of each pupil.
- Work closely with support staff to ensure seamless lesson delivery and provide a supportive environment for pupils to thrive.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum content and educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of our pupils.
- Promote positive relationships between staff, pupils, and parents, fostering a sense of community within the school.
Requirements
- A UK QTS or QTLS qualification
- Experience teaching in an SEN setting or working with pupils with complex additional needs
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
