Main Responsibilities

As a Room Leader at our Outstanding Nursery, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained for children from newborn to 5 years old.

Key Duties
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • Develop and implement effective plans to meet the needs of children, consulting with the Deputy/Manager as necessary
  • Work closely with area SENCO, EYFS advisors, health professionals, and local programs to ensure children receive the best possible care and education
  • Provide leadership and support to staff to enable them to establish and maintain positive working relationships
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning
Person Specification

We are looking for an experienced and qualified individual who possesses the following skills and qualifications:

  • Cache Level 3 Diploma or NVQ Level 3 equivalent
  • Proven experience working with children from newborn to 5 years old
  • Ability to use own initiative and work well in a team
  • Enthusiastic and caring approach
  • Reliable and honest
  • Genuine love and passion for children with a caring personality
