Operational Health and Safety Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Operational Health and Safety Strategist to join our team at Grafton Group.
Job Description:- To provide expert advice and support to Branch Managers, Regional Trading Directors, and other support functions, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- To conduct thorough audits and reports on branch health, safety, environmental, risk performance, and implement effective improvement actions.
- To investigate incidents and accidents, collaborating with operational management teams to identify underlying causes and develop strategies for recurrence prevention.
- To monitor timely completion of improvement actions by Operational Management teams and others, identifying causes and supporting appropriate actions to prevent recurrence.
- To act as a subject matter expert on specific risk management issues, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
- Maintain and enhance professional knowledge through continuous development and training.
- To contribute to the HSE team's efforts in developing branch management capabilities through coaching, training, and support.
- To maintain accurate records of work activities.
- To perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Health and Safety Manager from time to time.
