We are working with a leading organisation in the industry to fill a Packaging Buyer position.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Packaging Buyer, where you will be responsible for purchasing packaging materials and managing supplier relationships to drive business growth. The chosen candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with various stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of packaging technologies and specifications, including corrugated cartons, FSDUS/POS, and flexographic print processes.
  • Experience in purchasing packaging materials, such as flexographic printed films, self-adhesive labels, and shrink films.
  • Ability to advise design and marketing colleagues on cost-effective printing methods.
  • Understanding of packaging waste regulations and ability to source environmentally friendly alternatives.
  • Excellent IT skills, including experience with SAP MRP system and product creation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
