Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Project Manager to lead the delivery of education and workforce development change activities and interventions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, business analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of a portfolio of defined activities, pilots, and projects linked to NHS Long Term Workforce Plan, NHS Education Contract 2024, and key organisational strategies.
  • Mitigate risk to portfolio and project failure, ensuring high-quality delivery and minimal reputational damage.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including academic partners and education commissioners, to achieve shared goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Formal training in Project Management or Portfolio Management (e.g. PRINCE2/AMP/MoP).
  • Formal accredited training/qualification or equivalent experience in Business Analysis (e.g. BCS BA or IIBA business analysis).
