Our client in Redditch is looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their accounting skills and knowledge in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Day-to-Day Duties:
  • Maintaining Company Invoice System: Assist the Accounts team with maintaining the company invoice system, ensuring accuracy and correct formatting.
  • Reconciliation of Supplier Statements: Reconcile supplier statements and monitor accounts email inbox.
  • Processing Supplier Payments: Assist and process supplier payments, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Supporting Month-End Accounts: Support with month-end accounts, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Producing Sales Ledger Invoices: Produce sales ledger invoices and chase for payments.
  • Processing CIS Payments: Process CIS payments and update relevant systems.

Requirements:
  • Accounting Qualification: Accounting qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • MS Office Skills: Proficient with MS office software (word/excel).
  • Purchase Ledger Experience: Previous experience within a purchase ledger/accounts administration.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively across all business levels.
