Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at SelectScience. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth and expanding our presence in the scientific community.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, and drive the closure of new business deals.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve annual sales targets and monthly quotas, providing regular sales forecasts and updates.
- Account Management: Manage and develop existing accounts, cultivate high-level relationships within accounts, and promote long-term partnerships.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Client Services and Editorial, to ensure successful delivery of sponsor interactions.
- Market Insights: Provide consultative approach, capitalizing on clinical insight to develop tailored proposals and create opportunities.
- Experience: 6-7 years of B2B sales experience in a consultative, commercial environment, preferably in the science industry, scientific publishing, or a related field.
- Clinical Knowledge: Experience and knowledge of the clinical industry, with a proven track record of achieving targets and developing new business opportunities.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, self-assured, with a creative flair, resilient, and a positive outlook, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
