Mitie Telecoms is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team in Birmingham/Wolverhampton and surrounding regions.

Key Role Objectives:

  • To perform routine Planned Preventative Maintenance tasks on Telecoms sites.
  • To undertake minor reactive maintenance work as necessary.
  • To participate in a callout rota with additional remuneration.
  • To work on both "At Height" checks and ground level maintenance of cabin and compound.
  • To assist the site team in ensuring compliance with Statutory and Legislative requirements.
  • To be willing and able to work and stay away from home.
  • To work overtime and weekends as required.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified 18th Edition IEE regulations.
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance or NVQ 3 Electrical installation.
  • Test and Inspection desirable.
  • IPAF and PASMA desirable.
  • Able to work at heights of up to 3 metres and lift weight of up to 25kg.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize own workload.
  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
  • Full UK driving licence.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Electrical Maintenance Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, undertaking reactive maintenance work, and participating in a callout rota. You will also be required to work on both "At Height" checks and ground level maintenance of cabin and compound.
