Job Title: Market Risk Analyst - Derivatives Specialist

Job Summary:

Kite Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Analyst - Derivatives Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for monitoring real-time risk measurements and daily trading positions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Analysis: Provide in-depth risk analysis across the trading portfolio, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
  • Risk Reporting: Prepare and present risk reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements to enhance risk management and trading operations.
  • Position/Trading Limit Reviews: Conduct regular reviews of trading positions and limits to ensure compliance with risk management policies.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in a market risk-focused role, with a strong understanding of risk methodologies (VAR, Stress Testing, etc.).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in VBA and/or Python, with experience in developing tools to improve internal processes.
  • Asset Class Knowledge: Familiarity with Futures & Options is highly desirable, but other asset classes will be considered.
