About the Job

We are looking for a skilled Equipment Engineer to join our workshop team in the Ruislip area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of construction plant equipment.

Job Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in plant equipment maintenance who thrives in a busy workshop environment.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Maintain and repair construction plant equipment, ensuring it is always in good working order.
  • Diagnose faults, service, and conduct repairs in the workshop.
  • Work with various equipment, including small tools, generators, pumps, diggers, excavators, rollers, telehandlers, and forklifts.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Proven mechanical experience in plant maintenance.
  • Qualifications in plant maintenance, such as NVQ or City & Guilds.
  • Previous experience in roles like Plant Fitter, Service Engineer, or Field Service Engineer.
  • A full UK clean driving license.
