About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Accountant to join our team at Alliance Healthcare Management Services Limited. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting and consolidation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the timely receipt and upload of information from 3rd party service providers into the Group Consolidation System.
  • Prepare significant central journal entries and maintain associated support.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting to Cencora Corporate Accounting.
  • Operate Divisional Controls (Group Wide Controls) in the areas of consolidation and reporting.
  • Review and rationalise the company structure in each of our countries across Alliance Healthcare.
  • Deal with technical accounting questions from the businesses.
  • Oversight of inter-company re-charging, management charges etc.
  • Conduct ad-hoc requests from the businesses or Cencora Group management.
  • Liaise with external auditors for statutory audits and group audits.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with relevant PQE and solid education credentials.
  • Background in practice or industry.
  • Financial controls experience, either from an audit perspective or within a sizable international organisation.
  • Consolidation and group reporting experience, including intercompany accounting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-starter, motivated and ambitious.
