Job Title: Training Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Training Development Manager to join our team at the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). As a key member of our ICET division, you will be responsible for managing and growing our ICET training portfolio, ensuring alignment with market demands and strategic objectives.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders, manage diverse stakeholders, and drive innovative training solutions on a global scale. You will oversee the complete product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring commercial success and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a robust product roadmap to support business growth, working closely with the Learning Solution Development Lead.
  • Conduct market research to support new product development initiatives across the ICET portfolio.
  • Manage relationships with ICET tutors and subject-matter experts to develop new content and maintain existing assets.
  • Identify and launch new products that align with business goals and strategy.
  • Support marketing efforts for new product launches.
  • Ensure all training products and assets are up-to-date and relevant.
  • Provide escalation support to the Operations team when needed.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with subject-matter experts, industry partners, and internal teams.
  • Monitor product performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet commercial targets.
  • Contribute strategic ideas to the ICET business plan.
  • Manage budgets and expenditures for product development, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Determine product pricing in collaboration with the Head of Learning Solutions and Events.
Requirements
  • Degree-level or equivalent experience is essential.
  • Proven track record of delivering commercially successful products.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and strategic mindset.
