Job Summary

Torque Consulting is seeking a seasoned Senior Quality Manager to lead our client's Quality Management System in the Precision Engineering sector. This exciting opportunity will enable you to drive compliance and quality excellence across all manufacturing processes.

About the Role

This position offers a challenging and rewarding experience, where you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the QMS aligned with ISO9001 and APIQ1 standards. Your key objectives will include:

  • Driving Continuous Improvement: Reduce Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) through data-driven decision making and collaborative efforts.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with top management to assess QMS performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategic changes.
  • Quality Audits and Tools: Conduct audits and utilize quality tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Root Cause Analysis to ensure superior quality.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who possesses:

  • Proven QMS Experience: A strong background in managing Quality Management Systems within a manufacturing environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO9001 and APIQ1 standards, preferably within Oil & Gas or similar sectors.
  • Auditing and Analysis Skills: Expertise in auditing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methods.
  • Leadership Qualities: A proactive approach to quality assurance and a passion for collaborative, cross-functional leadership.

Salary and Benefits
