Receptionist Healthcare Professional

Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Receptionist, your primary duties will include:
• Ensuring that patients receive a high-quality experience, from initial contact to completion of their visit
• Managing patient records, including scheduling appointments, updating information, and maintaining accurate documentation
• Communicating effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders through various channels
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to provide seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies and guidelines
• Supporting the efficient operation of the practice, including performing various administrative tasks as required
Essential Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands
• Familiarity with computerised recording systems, Microsoft Office software, and other relevant tools and technologies
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting or similar administration role, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and administrative support
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision
