Exciting Opportunity for a Dedicated Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced clinical practitioner to lead our safeguarding efforts at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our safeguarding team, you will be responsible for strengthening our safeguarding portfolio and driving activity within the organisation.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to critically evaluate information and record it in a concise and accurate manner. They will also possess professional curiosity and the ability to make professional challenges.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated nurse to make a significant impact on our safeguarding efforts. You will work closely with our Named Nurses, Specialist Nurses, and Administration staff to ensure safe and effective services for vulnerable children and adults.

About the Role
  • Lead and drive safeguarding activity within the organisation
  • Strengthen our safeguarding portfolio
  • Work closely with multi-agency teams to ensure effective safeguarding

We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including contributory pension scheme, generous annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.

Requirements
  • Registered Children's Nurse or Community Public Health Practitioner qualification
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and training in safeguarding
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively
