Personal Care Support Worker

At Helping Hands, we've been supporting adults of all ages to maintain their independence and stay in the place they know and love since 1989.
We're looking for passionate individuals who want to make a difference in people's lives as Personal Care Support Workers. No prior social care experience is required; what we need from you is the Right to Work in the UK, as we are unable to offer Health and Care Worker visas. Additionally, you must have a full UK driving license with access to your own vehicle.
As a Personal Care Support Worker, you'll have the flexibility to work various shift patterns around your lifestyle, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends.
We can offer the following benefits:
- Paid mileage of 35p per mile between calls

Your role as a Personal Care Support Worker will involve being adaptable, kind-hearted, and putting others first. Your tasks may include:
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care, such as showering, bathing, and toileting
- Helping with mobility around the home
- Overseeing medication and providing medical support
- Assisting with household chores, like cleaning, cooking, and tidying
- Running errands, such as food shopping or picking up prescriptions
The estimated salary for this role is approximately £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
