Early Years Sufficiency and Data Expert

The Early Years' Service at Derbyshire County Council provides critical support to schools, private, voluntary, and independent sector early year's providers. This role offers a unique opportunity for an ambitious individual with exceptional ICT skills to contribute significantly to the council's objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing and analyzing data to ensure robust planning meets the local authority's legal duty under Section 6 of the Childcare Act 2006. This involves supporting the National Wraparound Childcare Programme and assisting with the production and publishing of the Annual Childcare Sufficiency Assessment.
This challenging role requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work unsupervised and part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience in extracting, analyzing, and presenting data, with a sound knowledge of GDPR and Data Protection.
In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus generous annual leave and flexi-time scheme, local government pension, and a range of employee benefits.
