We are seeking skilled individuals to join our highways teams in Wiltshire, working on various projects to maintain and improve road infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake highways repairs, including pothole patching, drainage work, and general highway maintenance.
  • Operate plant and equipment, such as excavators and rollers, to support daily tasks.
  • Use technology to input safety data and maintenance records.
  • Take responsibility for vehicles, plant, and materials in your charge.
  • Provide direction and supervision to less experienced operatives, as needed.
  • Participate in winter and emergency maintenance activities, working on a standby rota.
Requirements
  • Clean driving license.
  • Commitment to health and safety.
  • Good communication skills and basic literacy and numeracy.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and undertake manual labor.
  • LGV Class C driving license or willingness to invest in training during the probationary period.
  • CSCS Card.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Highways experience.
  • New Roads and Street Works (NRSWA) Operative Accreditation.
  • Lantra 12d.
