Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to traffic dispatchers, drivers, and operatives to ensure the smooth operation of our traffic office.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures, including the reporting of near misses and emergency procedures.
- Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and regulations, including the management of waste and the minimization of environmental impact.
- Operational Efficiency: Monitor and improve the efficiency of our traffic operations, including the management of our fleet of vehicles and the optimization of routes and schedules.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our internal and external customers, including the management of customer complaints and feedback.
- Administrative Tasks: Complete all administrative tasks associated with the role, including the management of work sheets and tachograph records.
- Experience: Extensive experience as a Traffic Manager or in a similar role in the services or logistics industry.
- Qualifications: National CPC qualification is essential.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a commercially driven and time-critical environment.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of transport legislation, environmental legislation, and health and safety regulations.
