We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our team in Liverpool. As a Senior Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing and progressing clinical negligence cases with a high degree of autonomy and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of clinical negligence matters from start to finish with a commercial and proactive approach.
- Provide support, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members.
- Collaborate with the Team Leader to discuss case strategies, planning, and team performance.
- Draft legal documentation, including Letters of Claim (LOC) and letters of instruction.
- Negotiate settlements and issue proceedings as required.
- Ensure effective time recording and the collection of relevant information to progress cases.
- Oversee and review documentation and correspondence produced by the team.
- Maintain excellent client care and uphold the firm's commitment to excellence in clinical negligence law.
- A minimum of 8 years PQE or equivalent experience in Clinical Negligence.
- Proven experience in handling a clinical negligence caseload.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication, drafting, and IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, Proclaim, and Excel.
- High attention to detail and strong commercial awareness within a legal context.
- Ability to mentor and coach junior team members effectively.
- Commitment to achieving results and meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional client care skills.
- 35 hour working week.
