Accounts and Office Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounts and Office Manager to join our client in a pivotal role within the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s financial and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the company’s financial records using Sage
  • Oversee all accounts tasks, including invoicing, reconciliations, and budgeting
  • Liaise with the external Accountant to ensure all required information is submitted as requested
  • Handle clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and suppliers
  • Implement and maintain office systems, layouts, and equipment to ensure efficiency
  • Communicate effectively with team members and external parties
  • Maintain a tidy and efficient office environment
  • Oversee human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
  • Perform administrative duties as required
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in accounts and office management
  • Experience using Sage
  • Previous experience in office management is desirable
  • Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
