About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team at Cellerate, a global leader in developing and manufacturing advanced automated systems for battery research and technology scale-up.

As an Assembly Technician, you will spend 70% of your time on product assembly, ensuring time frames are adhered to closely. You will also manage stock levels to ensure parts are available as required throughout the assembly phases. The remaining 30% of your time will be dedicated to supporting operations activities such as shipping, invoicing, monitoring and chasing payments, as well as other administrative duties.

Requirements
  • Graduate or Equivalent in Chemistry or Engineering
  • Practical experience with mechanical assembly or equipment maintenance
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good ability to prioritise and work under pressure
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Positive attitude
Desirable Skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Chemistry or Material Sciences
  • 1-2 years industry experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical systems
  • Knowledge of existing tools to identify root cause analysis
  • CNC experience
  • Metal Working
  • First Aid Training
