Aerospace Assembly Technician

At Cellerate, we are seeking a skilled Aerospace Assembly Fitter to join our team. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and testing of advanced automated systems for battery research and technology scale-up.
About the Role:As an Assembly Technician, you will spend 70% of your time on product assembly, ensuring time frames are adhered to closely. You will also manage stock levels so that parts are available as required throughout the assembly phases. 30% of your time will be supporting operations activities such as shipping, invoicing, monitoring and chasing payments, as well as other administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble and test advanced automated systems for battery research and technology scale-up
- Manage stock levels to ensure parts are available as required throughout the assembly phases
- Support operations activities such as shipping, invoicing, monitoring and chasing payments
- Perform other administrative duties as required
- Graduate or Equivalent in Chemistry or Engineering
- Practical experience with mechanical assembly or equipment maintenance
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Good ability to prioritize and work under pressure
- Ability to use own initiative
- Positive attitude
- Demonstrable knowledge of Chemistry or Material Sciences
- 1-2 years industry experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical/mechanical systems
- Knowledge of existing tools to identify root cause analysis
- CNC experience
- Metal Working
- First Aid Training
