We are recruiting for an exceptional Music Teacher to join our team at a reputable Secondary School in Norfolk, covering a long-term maternity leave position. As a Music Educator, you will have the opportunity to shape the musical experiences of students, inspire creativity, and foster a love for music.

About the Role
  • This position involves working with a talented team to deliver engaging Music lessons, promoting students' understanding and appreciation of various musical genres and styles.

The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, ensuring the smooth operation of the classroom, and be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Strong assessment and evaluation skills are necessary to monitor student progress and inform teaching strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  2. Maintain a well-structured and professional classroom environment, promoting a sense of community and respect among students.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a comprehensive Music curriculum, incorporating various techniques and approaches.
  4. Provide regular feedback and assessments to students, monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies as needed.
  5. Ensure adherence to school policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of academic excellence and student well-being.

Salary Estimate: £32,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.

We seek a highly skilled and dedicated Music Teacher with recent experience in a Secondary School setting. A relevant Music-related degree is beneficial, and applicants must hold QTS or an equivalent qualification. Excellent classroom management and behavior skills are essential for creating a productive and respectful learning environment.
