Job Title: Head Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK & Ireland. As a Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our food service meets the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Development: Develop and implement menus that are innovative, delicious, and meet the dietary needs of our clients and customers.
  • Culinary Leadership: Lead and motivate our culinary team to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to deliver high-quality food service.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and served safely and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet demand.
  • Cost Control: Manage food costs to ensure that we are operating within budget.
  • Team Management: Manage and develop our culinary team to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality food service.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar Head Chef role.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, leadership skills, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Qualities: Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to work as part of a team.
