Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Tissue Viability Nurse to join our integrated tissue viability team. The successful candidate will provide specialist care and support to patients with tissue viability needs, including vascular disorders and compromised skin integrity.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess and plan care for patients referred to the tissue viability service
  • Work closely with the tissue viability team to promote expert, individualised patient-centred clinical care
  • Provide education and support to patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of tissue viability policies and pathways
  • Lead on training programs for tissue viability and wound care

Person Specification
  • Registered General Nurse with experience in a similar specialist environment
  • Depth knowledge of tissue viability and associated vascular disorders
  • Ability to demonstrate sound clinical judgement and decision-making
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage workload
  • Ability to teach and present to a variety of audiences
