About the Role

Croydon Health Services NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tissue Viability Nurse to join our integrated tissue viability team. As a Tissue Viability Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing specialist care to patients with tissue viability needs, including vascular disorders and compromised skin integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and plan care for patients referred to the tissue viability service
  • Work closely with the tissue viability team to promote a high standard of care in the prevention and management of pressure ulcers
  • Provide education and support to patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of tissue viability policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse with experience of working in a similar specialist environment
  • Depth knowledge of tissue viability and associated vascular disorders
  • Ability to demonstrate sound clinical judgement and decision making, supported by theoretical knowledge
