Service Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team at Volvo Car UK. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers have a positive experience with our brand.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by listening to customers' concerns, documenting their vehicle issues, and communicating with technicians to resolve problems.
  • Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs.
  • Repair Estimates: Prepare accurate repair estimates and communicate with customers about the cost and time required for repairs.
  • Scheduling: Schedule service appointments and ensure that customers are informed about the status of their vehicle.
  • Warranty and Insurance: Advise customers about warranty protections and potential cost savings, and verify insurance coverage for vehicles brought to the dealership.
  • Test Drives: Arrange test drives with technicians to confirm customer concerns and provide a positive experience.
  • Customer Complaints: Resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Customer Service Experience: Proven experience in customer-facing roles, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with customers, technicians, and other stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple customers simultaneously.
