Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursing Associate to join our team at Oxford Health NHS Trust. As a Nursing Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with intellectual disabilities, working closely with families and the education and social care systems to empower them to achieve their goals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support with holistic and evidence-based assessments
  • Contribute to Multi-professional assessment and formulation of the needs of child and young person
  • Work closely with families and the education and social care systems to empower them to help the child / young person to achieve their goals
  • Assist the registered nursing staff and other health professionals to deliver a wide range of nursing interventions including the treatment of multiple chronic conditions, learning disability, autism and social vulnerability

Person Specification

Essential

  • Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register
  • Completion of Nursing Associate foundation degree qualification
  • Experience of working with individuals in emotional distress and / or behavioural challenges

Desirable

  • Experience of working with children
  • Experience of working with families
